Kelly's Best Breakfast Casserole

My friend in Colorado brought this casserole to a women's breakfast one Saturday in the late 90s. I begged for the recipe and it has been my go-to breakfast casserole recipe ever since then.

8 eggs, beaten
6 slices bread, cubed with crusts removed
1 lb. cooked sausage
Fresh ground pepper
2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 t. salt
1 T. dry mustard
Parsley flakes if desired

Mix all ingredients together. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Pour mixture into pan. Refrigerate for 12 hours or overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes, or until puffed all the way across and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
